Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Islam Aliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Letters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Letters.
Aliev is trying to get back to his feet.
Letters tries for a kimura but Aliev is defending well.
Aliev is not content to let Letters control the position.

Letters wants to take a breather but Aliev manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Letters.

Letters wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aliev, who protects the arm well.
Letters swings around for an armbar but Aliev sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Letters's guard.

Letters has gone for a leg lock! Aliev slips out almost immediately though and dives into Letters's guard.

Letters takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Letters uses his free foot to push down on Aliev's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Aliev.

You get the feeling that Aliev really doesn't like being in this position too much.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aliev has left one of his arms exposed and Letters doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Aliev screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
