The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason lands a head shot.
Leukakoukku tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mason swivels and escapes.
Mason throws a low kick but it's checked well by Leukakoukku.
Mason will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Leukakoukku checks the leg kick.

Mason lands with a hook. Leukakoukku tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Mason throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Leukakoukku looks for a takedown but Mason sprawls well.
Craig Mason has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kari Leukakoukku.
Leukakoukku shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mason as he jumps to the side.
Mason thumps Leukakoukku with a low kick.
Leukakoukku closes the distance and clinches up with Mason, looking for a takedown. Leukakoukku pushes Mason against the cage but Mason circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Leukakoukku looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mason scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Leukakoukku doesn't seem bothered though.
BOOM! Mason lands a beautiful left hook that drops Leukakoukku. Leukakoukku tries to recover but Mason is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Leukakoukku lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Craig Mason!
