Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Gerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Goodfellow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerra comes to the cage accompanied by Queen - Another One Bites The Dust. Clark Gerra had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerra fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Goodfellow checks it well.
A slow jab from Goodfellow misses its intended target.
Gerra keeps the fight on the outside.

Goodfellow gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Goodfellow slowing the pace effectively.
A body shot lands from Goodfellow.
Gerra tries to pull guard but Goodfellow holds him up against the cage and eventually Gerra drops back down to his feet.
Goodfellow lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Gerra or not.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Goodfellow continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Andrew Goodfellow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gerra takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Gerra wants to advance to full mount but Goodfellow doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Gerra postures up in Goodfellow's guard and throws a big left but Goodfellow blocks it.

Gerra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Goodfellow dives on top into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clark Gerra will probably get the nod.

Goodfellow keeps control of the position as Gerra tries to break free.
Goodfellow is trying to stick to Gerra's back but Gerra is turning into Goodfellow. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Goodfellow's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Gerra.
