Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Dragonvich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Udarchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Udarchenko looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Dragonvich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Udarchenko!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragonvich shoots for a takedown but Udarchenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Dragonvich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Udarchenko but Udarchenko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dragonvich closes the distance and clinches up with Udarchenko, looking for a takedown. Dragonvich pushes Udarchenko against the cage but Udarchenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Dragonvich. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Udarchenko avoids the body shot from Dragonvich.
Dragonvich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Udarchenko but Udarchenko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Udarchenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dragonvich fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dragonvich defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Udarchenko.
Udarchenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dragonvich avoids it really well and circles away.

and Dragonvich counters with a nice double leg into side control. Udarchenko won't be happy with that.

Dragonvich tries to get to his feet but Udarchenko is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Dragonvich in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Udarchenko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Dragonvich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Udarchenko on the ground.

Dragonvich wants to stand but Udarchenko is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dragonvich throws a big right hand that misses.
Dragonvich is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Dragonvich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Udarchenko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dragonvich not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Dragonvich's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Dragonvich tries for a takedown but Udarchenko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dragonvich thows a body shot but no joy.
Dragonvich shoots in for a double leg but Udarchenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dragonvich is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dragonvich is trying to control Udarchenko's posture but Udarchenko avoids it.

Dragonvich keeps Udarchenko under control for a moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Udarchenko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dragonvich is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Dragonvich is looking for a sweep.

Dragonvich controls the position for a moment.
Dragonvich is trying to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Ivan Dragonvich just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Dragonvich tries to score a power double leg takedown but Udarchenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dragonvich somewhat.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dragonvich looks to clinch

and Udarchenko counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ivan Udarchenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Dragonvich looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dragonvich shoots in for a double leg but Udarchenko sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

and Udarchenko holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Udarchenko goes for a takedown attempt but Dragonvich pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Udarchenko counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Udarchenko tries to score a body lock takedown but Dragonvich shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dragonvich gets underhooks to prevent Udarchenko's takedown attempt.
Dragonvich wants to break free but Udarchenko has control.
Udarchenko has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dragonvich is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Udarchenko goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dragonvich prevents it.
Dragonvich is trying to break the clinch but Udarchenko has him pressed against the cage.
Dragonvich is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Udarchenko pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Udarchenko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dragonvich gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Dragonvich has had enough of the clinch but Udarchenko keeps him there for the moment.

Dragonvich drags the fight down to the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Dragonvich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Udarchenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dragonvich is adopting a defensive guard.

Udarchenko drops back looking for a leg! Dragonvich is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dragonvich manages to kick Udarchenko off! Udarchenko jumps back into Dragonvich's guard.

Dragonvich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Udarchenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dragonvich wants to sweep here but Udarchenko controlling him for the moment.
Dragonvich pulls Udarchenko in close to prevent any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dragonvich manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Udarchenko is looking to improve his position but Dragonvich isn't that keen on the idea.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ivan Dragonvich showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Dragonvich has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
