Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rich Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Terry Bernard!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bernard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brown.
Some bone on bone action there as Brown checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Nice takedown defense from Bernard. No joy for Brown on that attempt.

Bernard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bernard is trying to control the action in half guard but Brown is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Brown gets full guard.
Bernard is stalling in the full guard.

Bernard has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Brown to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bernard is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Brown pulls down on the head and he's put Bernard to sleep! This one is all over!
