PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Pepper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kurt Summers was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Pepper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Summers tries to avoid it but Pepper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Summers to the ground. Summers escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Summers lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pepper shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Summers as he jumps to the side.
Summers throws a leg kick which misses Pepper's front leg but catches the back leg as Pepper tries to avoid it.

Summers lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Oh Pepper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Summers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Summers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Summers tried to score with a low kick but Pepper checks it.
Pepper takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pepper has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pepper there as he acknowledges the shot.

Horrible takedown by Pepper or perhaps it was just good defense by Summers which made him look bad.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

BOOM! Summers lands a beautiful left hook that drops Pepper. Pepper tries to recover but Summers is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Pepper lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
