PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Junior Lonestar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lestat Lioncourt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lioncourt.
Lioncourt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lonestar's waist but Lonestar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lioncourt off to one side.
Lonestar could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lonestar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lonestar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lioncourt is controlling an arm, preventing Lonestar from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Lonestar is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lioncourt can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Lioncourt wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Lonestar's closed guard. He's half up but Lonestar has locked on to an arm! Uh oh!
