Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between mao zedong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Spivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
zedong thumps Spivey with a low kick.
zedong throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Spivey.
Spivey is rocked!
zedong drops Spivey with a beautiful combination! Spivey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - zedong is looking for the KO!
Spivey is still on wobbly legs! Can zedong finish him?
Spivey rushes zedong and presses him up against the cage.
Spivey pulls guard.
zedong stands and steps away. Spivey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Spivey seems to have recovered his senses.
zedong scores with a punch to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Spivey tries to clinch but zedong is having none of it.
zedong gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Spivey to score an easy takedown into full guard.
zedong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Spivey sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed zedong's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
zedong tries to kick Spivey off but Spivey keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
zedong manages to get to full guard.
zedong is pulling down on Spivey's head. It's preventing any offense from Spivey, at least for the moment.
zedong can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Spivey controls the pace.
Spivey decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Spivey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in zedong's guard.
Spivey stops zedong from standing up.
Spivey is looking to work some ground and pound but zedong has wrist control.
zedong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spivey is one step ahead there.
zedong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
zedong has his feet on Spivey's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Spivey looks gassed!
Spivey throws a body punch but zedong moves out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Spivey. zedong does a little dance to reset his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from zedong.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by zedong.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
zedong clinches but Spivey breaks the clinch
and Spivey decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in zedong's guard.
zedong is pulling down on Spivey's head. It's preventing any offense from Spivey, at least for the moment.
zedong is looking to sinch up a triangle. Spivey throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to zedong's body to avoid the submission. zedong has instead reached around Spivey's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! zedong arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
