Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romulo Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tony Big has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Big!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Romulo Barral!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big fails with the takedown.
Big fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Big forces Barral back against the ropes and clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Barral tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A right hook to the body lands for Big.

Big pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Big is looking to clinch but Barral is avoiding it.
Barral avoids a punch combination nicely.
Big lands a lovely overhand right.
Barral lands a head kick. Big smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Barral fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Big sprawls well initially but Barral persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Big is on top in guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters circling - Big throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Big bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Barral is looking for a sweep.
Big trying to control the position but Barral is working away.

Barral manages to work his way to half guard, despite Big's best efforts.
Barral tries to roll over but Big keeps him under control.
Big wants to free his trapped foot but Barral is holding on for dear life with his legs.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Big will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
