Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bridge shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Life but Life pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Life swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Life fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bridge tries to close the distance and clinch but Life swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bridge tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Life swivels and escapes.
Bridge showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Life.
Life misses with a double jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bridge fails with a takedown attempt.
Fuck Life has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Bridge.
Life throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bridge tries to bum rush Life with a series of wild strikes but Life uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bridge cracks the inside of Life's front leg.
Life falls off balance throwing a combination

and Bridge counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Bridge stops Life from getting back to his feet.

Bridge is looking for a kimura but Life is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bridge to get the leverage.

Bridge is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Bridge has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Life is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bridge lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Life hold on?!

Bridge looking to break Life's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Life remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bridge will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Life manages to stand up with Bridge still on his back. Eventually Bridge drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Life throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bridge fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Life swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bridge shoots for a double leg takedown but Life sprawls well. He's pushed Bridge's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bridge bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Bridge is chipping away with strikes.
Life wants to get back to his feet but Bridge is dominant here and he's now got Life's back!
Life's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

John Bridge has got the better of the ground game so far.

Life is trying to get back to his feet but Bridge has full control of the position and if anything, Life has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Bridge has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Life! Can he survive? No! He's out! Bridge gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
