Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atilla Leopoldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Leopoldo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Halleljuah Chorus. Punch has chosen How It Ends as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Atilla Leopoldo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Punch's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punch leaves Leopoldo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Leopoldo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Leopoldo tries to clinch up but Punch circles away and keeps his distance.

Punch blocks a jab.
Punch uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leopoldo.
Punch paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Leopoldo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Punch to score with a decent uppercut.
Leopoldo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Leopoldo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Leopoldo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Punch's guard.

Leopoldo is trying to control the action in half guard but Punch is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Punch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leopoldo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Punch has hold of Leopoldo's hands but Leopoldo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Leopoldo is looking to advance position but Punch won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Punch can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
