The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins stuffs the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Jenkins. No joy for Smith on that attempt.
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jenkins defends it nicely.

Smith blocks a head kick by Jenkins.
Smith could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jenkins takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Smith.

Jenkins throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Jenkins drops Smith with a beautiful combination! Smith stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Jenkins is looking for the KO!

It looks like John Smith has been cut.
Smith is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jenkins dances in with a quick combination. Smith is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Jenkins snaps Smith's head back. Smith stumbles backwards against the cage. Jenkins steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Smith's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Smith just didn't come prepared.
