Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Diego Guerra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pacanchik Chetkii!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chetkii shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Guerra is looking to control Chetkii's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Guerra avoid being mounted?

Chetkii is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guerra sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guerra slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Chetkii won't allow Guerra to get back to his feet.
Guerra keeping moving, preventing Chetkii from controlling successfully.
Chetkii trying to stand up but can't free himself from Guerra's guard.
Chetkii stays in close to Guerra's body and controls the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guerra is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Guerra is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Chetkii is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chetkii trying to control but Guerra is working from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Chetkii shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Chetkii was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Guerra is looking to get to half guard.

Guerra is wriggling around trying to escape.

Chetkii working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Guerra turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Chetkii off and cradles Guerra's limp body as Chetkii celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Pacanchik Chetkii!
