Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alfred Hitchcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Alarcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alarcon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Hitchcock shoots in and bounces Alarcon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

and Alarcon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Alarcon wants to break free but Hitchcock has control.

Alarcon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hitchcock connects with a decent elbow.
Hitchcock throws a strike aimed at the side of Alarcon's head but Alarcon avoids it well.
Hitchcock in side control, throwing shots but Alarcon defends.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alarcon on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hitchcock misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hitchcock avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Alarcon tries to clinch but Hitchcock moves out of range.

Hitchcock lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Alarcon throws a series of punches but Hitchcock avoids them all with ease.

Hitchcock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Alarcon moves away.

Alarcon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hitchcock just stands there and leans against the cage.

enabling Alarcon to counter with a crisp jab.
Alarcon moves out of range of the leg kick from Hitchcock.
Hitchcock moves forwards but Alarcon connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Hitchcock fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alarcon fails in his attempt to clinch.
Alarcon lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Alarcon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hitchcock as he avoids it easily.
Good leg kick by Alarcon there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Alarcon looks to throw the jab but Hitchcock is out of range.
Alarcon stuns Hitchcock with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheers as Alarcon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hitchcock doesn't seem phased though.

Hitchcock shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hitchcock was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
