Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Paradox Pro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shiro Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiro Yamada will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shiro Yamada!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pro shoots in but Yamada avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Yamada misses with a few strikes there.
An inside leg kick lands from Yamada.
Yamada dips to his left and cracks Pro with an uppercut!
A punch combination from Yamada misses.
Pro shoots in but Yamada avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pro slips a jab and a cross from Yamada.
Yamada lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Pro on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yamada shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like Yamada is going to stand back up.

Pro looking for submissions off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Yamada decides to return to a standing position.
No joy there for Yamada, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Yamada bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Pro is being controlled here.

Pro is pushing Yamada's head away, looking to escape. Yamada manages to hold on to the position though.

Pro tries to improve position but can't.
Yamada advances to full mount.
Pro is trying to escape the mount.
Yamada lands a nice shot to the head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pro really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Yamada pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Pro keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Pro wants to control but Yamada is having none of it.

Yamada forces Pro back against the cage and clinches.

Yamada gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Pro regains guard.

Pro is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Yamada has managed to free his arm - good work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pro thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Pro looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Yamada looks like he's trying to stand up.

Yamada is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pro's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pro's back!
Yamada keeps control of the position as Pro tries to break free.
Pro is working hard here to advance position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pro is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Yamada is breathing heavily.
Pro looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Shiro Yamada showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Yamada controlling the pace for now.
Shiro Yamada is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pro is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Pro is working to get back to half guard.
Yamada takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Pro wants to hold on but Yamada pushes him away.

Yamada cracks Pro with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Pro tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Yamada looking to finish Pro with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pro!
Yamada looking to control and managing it successfully.
Paradox Pro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Shiro Yamada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yamada has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
