Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Uncomfortable Positions (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryn Wendowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wendowsky's choice of entrance music: Quiet Dog Bite Hard. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Uncomfortable Positions!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bryn Wendowsky!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wendowsky misses with a double jab.
Positions pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Positions changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wendowsky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Positions creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Wendowsky sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Wendowsky wants to get back to his feet.

Positions tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Positions misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Positions misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Positions wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wendowsky, who protects the arm well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wendowsky can do anything to dispel that myth.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Positions is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Positions slips under a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wendowsky. Positions does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wendowsky looks to land a right hand but Positions moved out of range.
Wendowsky stuns Positions with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wendowsky lands with an uppercut that bounces Positions off the cage and back into rage.

Wendowsky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wendowsky uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Positions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Positions displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wendowsky throws out the jab.
Wendowsky cracks Positions with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Positions counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wendowsky thinking.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Positions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wendowsky throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wendowsky is breathing heavily.
Positions loads up on a big right hand but Wendowsky slips the punch.
Positions lands with a hook. Wendowsky tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Positions dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wendowsky. That did some damage!
Positions connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Positions scores with a shot to the body.
Wendowsky on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Positions. Positions obviously looking to wear him down.

Positions wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wendowsky, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Positions working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Positions has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The strikes coming from Positions are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Positions working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Wendowsky on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Positions in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Positions throws an elbow but Wendowsky slips to the side and avoids it well.
Positions throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Wendowsky avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Positions.
The ground and pound from Positions seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Wendowsky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Positions. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Positions misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wendowsky waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Positions.
Wendowsky blocks a low kick nicely.
Uncomfortable Positions is winning the standup battle so far.
Nice defenses there by Positions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Uncomfortable Positions dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Positions walks into a stiff left hand from Wendowsky.
Positions keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wendowsky.
Positions throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wendowsky's waist but Wendowsky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Positions off to one side.
A punch lands to the side of Positions 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Positions showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wendowsky.

Wendowsky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Positions sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Positions decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Positions is nestled in close to Wendowsky, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Positions frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Positions working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Positions throws some wild stikes that Wendowsky manages to avoid easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wendowsky really wants to buck Positions off and get back to his feet.
Positions tries to control but Wendowsky wriggling away.
Wendowsky trying desperately to get to his feet.

Positions thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Positions unloading with bombs!
Positions throwing strikes here but Wendowsky is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Wendowsky tries to buck Positions off but he can't manage it.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Positions cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Positions connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wendowsky wants to try and get back to his feet.
Wendowsky is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Positions punching from mount but Wendowsky doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Positions thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

Positions working for a guillotine from mount but Wendowsky is in no mood to give up.

And that's the end of the fight!
Uncomfortable Positions showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Positions has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
