Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McInty tries to clinch up but Jenkins circles away and keeps his distance.
Jenkins works the jab nicely.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

I looks like Jenkins might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

McInty on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McInty tries to get out of the position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Arthur Jenkins just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McInty tries to clinch up.

Jenkins closes the distance and clinches.

McInty is pressed up against the cage. Jenkins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McInty down to the mat. McInty avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Jenkins counters with a head kick. That will keep McInty thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Jenkins throws and low kick but McInty moves out of range easily.
Jenkins looks for a takedown but McInty sprawls well.

and Jenkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

McInty looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jenkins is one step ahead there.

Let's hope that Jenkins has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Arthur Jenkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jenkins is defended easily by McInty.

and Jenkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

McInty wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Jenkins manages to pass to side control.

McInty pushes Jenkins off looking to stand but Jenkins dives back in and keeps control.
Jenkins seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jenkins is looking for a takedown up against the cage. McInty gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Ted McInty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Jenkins.
McInty comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
McInty pushes off an throws an elbow but Jenkins leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Ted McInty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jenkins has McInty pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. McInty manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
McInty throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Arthur Jenkins comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jenkins winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
