The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garvin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like Alex Bader has been cut. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Garvin lands with a thumping leg kick.

Garvin seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Garvin keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bader's efforts to push away.
