The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Johnson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Johnson has managed to clinch.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch but Marcello keeps him there for the moment.

Marcello breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Marcello.
Johnson has a takedown stuffed.

Johnson forces Marcello back against the cage and clinches.
Marcello wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Johnson decides to pull guard.
Johnson can't keep his opponent in guard - Marcello advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Marcello is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Johnson is trying to stand up here but Marcello is controlling him well.
Johnson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnson tries to get out of the position.
Marcello passes to side control.
Marcello advances nicely into full mount.
Marcello with a couple of short strikes.
Marcello has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Marcello won't let Johnson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Marcello is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Johnson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Johnson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Marcello anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Johnson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Marcello slips an arm under Johnson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Marcello has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Marcello is squeezing on Johnson like an anaconda would it's prey. Johnson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
