Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kimbo AbbottSlice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jarkko Ruutu!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
AbbottSlice throws an overhand right that lands on Ruutu's shoulder, as Ruutu tries to avoid the shot.
AbbottSlice scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
AbbottSlice creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
AbbottSlice in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

AbbottSlice is trying to get an arm triangle but Ruutu is defending well.
AbbottSlice wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ruutu keeps working.
AbbottSlice is really struggling to control Ruutu but he's trying to hold on to the position.

AbbottSlice working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

AbbottSlice is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ruutu is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Ruutu pushes AbbottSlice away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, AbbottSlice gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
AbbottSlice tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ruutu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ruutu tries to clinch but AbbottSlice is having none of it.
AbbottSlice has managed to clinch.
Ruutu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as AbbottSlice walks away with a smile on his face. Ruutu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
AbbottSlice misses with a looping left.
Ruutu lands a jab to AbbottSlice's midsection.
AbbottSlice lands a head shot.
AbbottSlice throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ruutu moves into the clinch.
AbbottSlice is trying to drag Ruutu to the mat but Ruutu just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A right hook to the body lands for Ruutu.
Ruutu drops down looking for an ankle pick but AbbottSlice pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Ruutu wants to clinch but AbbottSlice slips to the side
letting AbbottSlice counter with a right hand.
A jab lands there for AbbottSlice.
AbbottSlice closes the distance and clinches.
AbbottSlice tries to throw a body punch but Ruutu avoids it by throwing AbbottSlice back against the cage.
AbbottSlice tries to work over Ruutu's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ruutu lands a body shot.
Ruutu prevents a body shot from AbbottSlice.
AbbottSlice is pressed up against the cage. Ruutu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag AbbottSlice down to the mat. AbbottSlice avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kimbo AbbottSlice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jarkko Ruutu.
Ruutu wants to clinch up but AbbottSlice keeps it at a distance.
Ruutu tries to grapple but his opponent circles
letting AbbottSlice counter with a right hand.

Horrible takedown by AbbottSlice or perhaps it was just good defense by Ruutu which made him look bad.
A punch combination from AbbottSlice misses.
AbbottSlice is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
AbbottSlice tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
AbbottSlice looks to land a left hand but Ruutu moved out of range nicely.
Ruutu tries to clinch up but AbbottSlice circles away and keeps his distance.
AbbottSlice throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
AbbottSlice tries to clinch there but Ruutu circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kimbo AbbottSlice dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ruutu tries to clinch up but AbbottSlice circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed right hand from AbbottSlice misses the target.
AbbottSlice lands a hook that stumbles Ruutu back into the cage. AbbottSlice follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Ruutu to the canvas! AbbottSlice pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Ruutu has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
