Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geronimo Malkind (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malkind is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Extreme Ways. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bacon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Geronimo Malkind has been cut.
Bacon stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bacon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Malkind has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bacon's face.
Malkind has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Malkind has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
