Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Smonsmana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Curcic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smonsmana's entrance music is say hello to my little friend. A fine choice. Tony Smonsmana could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Igor Curcic's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tony Smonsmana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smonsmana drives through with a takedown into guard.
Curcic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Smonsmana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Smonsmana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Smonsmana is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Curcic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smonsmana is controlling him.
Smonsmana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Curcic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smonsmana has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Smonsmana decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Curcic throws a right and a left that Smonsmana avoids nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smonsmana slips a jab and a cross from Curcic.
Smonsmana scores with a hook to the body. Curcic takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Curcic looks gassed!

Smonsmana closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Smonsmana decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Smonsmana gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Curcic tries to work over Smonsmana's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Smonsmana is looking to break free of the clinch but Curcic has double underhooks.
Curcic jumps guard but Smonsmana stands there with Curcic around his waist. Curcic gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Smonsmana has Curcic pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Smonsmana pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Curcic tumbling to the mat - Smonsmana dives into Curcic's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Smonsmana stands and throws Curcic's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Curcic can't do much from the bottom here.
Smonsmana cracks Curcic with a big right hand but Curcic just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Curcic is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Smonsmana asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Smonsmana in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Curcic is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
