Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawrence Muggerud II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Hurt - Johnny Cash as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a straight right.
Muggerud II scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A big left from Johnson misses.
Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Muggerud II circles away quickly and effectively.
Johnson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Muggerud II throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Johnson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd cheers as Johnson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Muggerud II doesn't seem phased though.
Johnson is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Johnson scores with a one two! Muggerud II had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

and Muggerud II cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Johnson lands a left and a right that sends Muggerud II crashing to the canvas! Johnson dives into mount looking to finish!

Johnson cracks Muggerud II with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Muggerud II out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Johnson goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Chance Johnson!
