The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tammipuomi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

It looks like Johnny Monfriesz has been cut.
Tammipuomi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Monfriesz was well out of range. Poor timing from Tammipuomi.
Monfriesz looks to throw the jab but Tammipuomi is out of range.
Monfriesz misses with a jab to the body
and Tammipuomi counters with a three punch combo that has Monfriesz backing up. Monfriesz nods at Tammipuomi to acknowledge the strikes.
Tammipuomi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Monfriesz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tammipuomi was well out of range. Poor timing from Monfriesz.
A punch combination from Monfriesz misses.
Good leg kick by Monfriesz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Monfriesz cracks the inside of Tammipuomi's front leg.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tammipuomi avoids the body shot from Monfriesz.
Tammipuomi slips a jab and a cross from Monfriesz.
Tammipuomi works Monfriesz's body with a nice hook.
Monfriesz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Monfriesz throws a big shot that misses.
Tammipuomi scores with a shot to the body.
Monfriesz jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tammipuomi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tammipuomi has a takedown stuffed.
Tammipuomi takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Monfriesz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tammipuomi - the referee stops the clock and Monfriesz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tammipuomi. Monfriesz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Monfriesz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Monfriesz rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tammipuomi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tammipuomi falls off balance throwing a combination
and Monfriesz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Monfriesz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Tammipuomi finds it's way round the side to connect with Monfriesz's head.

Monfriesz is rocked!
Tammipuomi measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Monfriesz! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
