Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots for a takedown but Netyahr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Netyahr but Netyahr pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Netyahr lands with a nice combination. Jones backs away looking to recover.
Jones avoids the head kick by Netyahr.
Ykowngh Netyahr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Netyahr stalks Jones and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jones's face. Jones staggers backwards, shaken.
Netyahr misses with a few strikes there.
Jones is trying hard to land a takedown here. Netyahr sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ykowngh Netyahr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James J Jones.
Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Netyahr sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Jones counters with a single leg into guard. Netyahr didn't expect that.

Jones gets to his feet - Netyahr follows without any prompting.

Jones is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Netyahr can't fight it off and eventually Jones manages to take the fight to the floor. Netyahr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jones is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Despite being in the dominant position, James J Jones just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Netyahr gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Jones is pushing down on Netyahr's leg trying to pass to half guard. Netyahr is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Netyahr is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Netyahr will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Jones counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Jones is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Netyahr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

James J Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Netyahr as he jumps to the side.
Netyahr stuffs the takedown attempt from Jones. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.
Netyahr scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Netyahr.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Jones lands a nice short elbow.
Jones is trying to control. Netyahr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Jones jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Netyahr manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Jones decides to stand up, so the ref orders Netyahr to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jones fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Netyahr sprawls well initially but Jones persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Netyahr is looking to escape.
Jones is trying to control. Netyahr wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Ykowngh Netyahr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
