Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Operator Seven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martial Arts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arts comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cry Little Sister kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seven throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Arts throws a jab but it's blocked by Seven.
Arts swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Seven scores a takedown into full mount!

Seven moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Arts has worked his arm free - good work by Arts!
Arts is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Arts prevents Seven from moving into mount.
Seven looking to control but instead Arts has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Arts is trying to stand back up but Seven is controlling him

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Martial Arts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arts has Seven up against the cage in a clinch.
Seven has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Arts avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Arts.
Seven tries to score a body lock takedown but Arts shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Arts is pressed up against the cage. Seven has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Arts down to the mat. Arts avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Martial Arts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Seven is defended easily by Arts.

Arts does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Arts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

and Arts holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Seven really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Arts gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Seven.
Seven wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Arts has him pressed against the cage.
Arts will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Seven up against the cage.

Arts prevents a takedown attempt there.
Arts pushes Seven back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Seven tries to circle away but Arts has him pinned against the cage.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Arts tries to land knees in the clinch but Seven avoids the damage to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

and Arts counters with a left and a right that stings Seven.
Seven doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Arts counter with a right hand.
Arts is looking to score with low kicks.
Arts just misses with a punch to the body.
Arts rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Seven moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Arts misses with a looping right.
An inside leg kick from Arts misses.
Seven misses with a body shot.
Seven looks to land a right hand but Arts moved out of range.
Arts ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Seven moves away.
Arts misses with an attempted mid kick.
Seven keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Martial Arts dominated that round.

Seven ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Arts moves in looking to clinch but Seven pushes him off.

Seven shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Arts is pushing Seven's head away, looking to escape. Seven manages to hold on to the position though.
Arts is breathing heavily.
Seven wants to control but Arts is keeping him busy.
Arts is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Seven is controlling him well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Seven wants to lay and pray for a moment but Arts keeps working.

Seven is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Arts is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Arts wants to get back to his feet but Seven drags him back down.

Arts is not content to let Seven control the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Seven is working for a kimura but Arts is defending it quite comfortably.
Seven wants to take a breather but Arts is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's time! Seven's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

The fighters circling - Seven throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Arts throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Seven throws the left hand but Arts avoids the punch easily.

Arts keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Arts kicks off Seven and gets to his feet.
Arts will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Arts fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Seven checks it well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Arts will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Seven scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Arts is not content to let Seven control the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Operator Seven.
I think Seven has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
