The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar darts in and clinches Emelianenko up against the cage.
Lesnar's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lesnar misses with a wild body shot.
Lesnar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

It looks like Lyoto Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Emelianenko.
Lesnar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lesnar is trying hard to land a takedown here. Emelianenko sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lesnar shoots for a takedown but Emelianenko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Emelianenko lands a left and a right that send Lesnar crashing to the mat, dazed. Emelianenko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lesnar is rocked!

Emelianenko connects with a nice cross there... Lesnar is looking wobbly and Emelianenko recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lesnar to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Emelianenko jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
