The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shui Bai doesn't manage to clinch there - Tamagori circles away.

Shui Bai throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tamagori was covering up waiting for the punch and Shui Bai finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shui Bai has control of Tamagori's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tamagori regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Shui Bai swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tamagori is now in Shui Bai's guard. A big mistake from Shui Bai there, giving up the dominant position!

Shui Bai shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tamagori's guard.

Shui Bai is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tamagori knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Shui Bai has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tamagori is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Shui Bai yanks on the arm and Tamagori is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Shui Bai.
