The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mastiff takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Brunson Mastiff has been cut.

Mastiff fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cacildis sprawls well initially but Mastiff persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Mastiff wants to free his trapped foot but Cacildis is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cacildis looks to throw the jab but Mastiff is out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mastiff. Cacildis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mastiff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cacildis as he jumps to the side.
Mastiff lands a jab to the head.

Brunson Mastiff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cacildis moves out of range as Mastiff strikes.
Mastiff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Donk. Cacildis catches Mastiff right on the button with a cross.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cacildis pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cacildis looks to land a combination but Mastiff avoids it well.
Mussum Cacildis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Are you kidding me?! Cacildis ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mastiff clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
