Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johhny La chingas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Mash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mash is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: North Dakota State Fight Song. Steve Mash has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

La chingas gets caught flat footed, as Mash shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mash trying to control but La chingas is working from the bottom.
Mash connects with a couple of short punches.
La chingas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

La chingas working for a triangle but Mash defends it easily.

La chingas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
La chingas utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mash throws a big right hand that misses.
Mash lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

La chingas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mash defends it easily.

La chingas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mash scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. La chingas doesn't seem bothered though.

The crowd cheers as Mash lands an impressive looking overhand right. La chingas doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Johhny La chingas has been cut.
Mash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
La chingas is breathing heavily.
Mash misses with a two punch combination.
La chingas moves out of range of the strikes.
La chingas shoots in and drives through. Mash sprawls well.
Mash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but La chingas was well out of range. Poor timing from Mash.
Mash is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

and Mash counters with a crisp one two that drops La chingas! Mash thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves La chingas to his feet! La chingas is in big trouble!

Oh La chingas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mash throws a right hand that La chingas ducks under and follows up with a left that La chingas also avoids with ease.
La chingas seems to have got his legs back now.
Mash throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mash lands a left and a right that send La chingas crashing to the mat, dazed. Mash thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
La chingas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Steve Mash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mash looks to score with a jab to the body but La chingas is just out of range.

Mash shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. La chingas is trying to defend but Mash finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
La chingas is staying active underneath Mash, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Mash drops an elbow to the side of La chingas's head.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Mash is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
La chingas has hold of Mash's hands but Mash slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mash thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Mash's corner calls for a 1-2. Mash obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Mash gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
La chingas throws and elbow that misses. Mash uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in La chingas's guard. Nice move by Mash!

Mash is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but La chingas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Mash is looking to defend but La chingas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Mash! La chingas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Mash taps out and this one is all over!
