The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Silva.
Silva tries to clinch but Ja is having none of it.
Silva takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Emilio Silva has been cut.
Ja throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Ja scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pablo Ja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ja throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease.
Ja lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Silva can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ja and Silva drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ja.
