The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales misses with a kick to the body.
Gonzales throws and low kick but Nelson moves out of range easily.
Gonzales feints and then cracks Nelson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Nelson down.
Horrible takedown by Nelson or perhaps it was just good defense by Gonzales which made him look bad.
Nelson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Gonzales - that will leave a mark!
Gonzales throws a leg kick which misses Nelson's front leg but catches the back leg as Nelson tries to avoid it.
Nelson looks gassed!

Gonzales thuds his shin into the meat of Nelson's side.

Gonzales lands a big head kick that sends Nelson tumbling to the mat! Gonzales takes a step backwards and waves Nelson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
