Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carmen Sandiego (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Carmen Sandiego!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, James Miller!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandiego misses with a two punch combination.
Sandiego stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sandiego wants it to stay on the feet.
Sandiego jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A head kick misses from Sandiego.

Miller gets a clinch.
Sandiego trying to control the position but instead, Miller has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sandiego into the cage.
Sandiego drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sandiego prevents a takedown attempt there.
Miller changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Sandiego fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Carmen Sandiego has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Miller.

Sandiego decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sandiego thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Miller's head.
Sandiego works his way into full mount!

Sandiego swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Miller is now in Sandiego's guard. A big mistake from Sandiego there, giving up the dominant position!

Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sandiego swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sandiego might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Sandiego is controlling Miller's trapped leg to prevent Miller from advancing to side control.
Sandiego gets back to full guard.
Sandiego is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Sandiego controls Miller momentarily but Miller frees himself.

Miller drops back looking for a leg! Sandiego is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sandiego manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Sandiego's guard.

Sandiego working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Sandiego manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Miller manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Sandiego has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Miller is proving hard to escape from.
Miller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sandiego postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Miller can't keep his opponent in guard - Sandiego advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Sandiego winds up and cracks Miller with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Sandiego wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
Sandiego drops an elbow to the side of Miller's head.
Sandiego lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Sandiego is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Sandiego is stalling here. Miller is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sandiego seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Miller has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Sandiego manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Sandiego is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Sandiego seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Excellent takedown into side control there by Sandiego.
Sandiego lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Miller down.

You can see the frustration on Miller's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sandiego seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Miller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Miller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sandiego pulls his head out easily.
Sandiego takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Miller has hold of Sandiego's hands but Sandiego slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sandiego perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Sandiego looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Miller is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sandiego slips a nice elbow through Miller's hands, connecting with Miller's forehead.

Sandiego stands up out of the half guard.
Sandiego throws a one two combo.
Sandiego throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sandiego scores with a crisp jab that stopped Miller in his tracks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sandiego throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Miller has his hands clasped together but Sandiego breaks the hold and Miller is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Sandiego!
