Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between African Sensitive (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Malurky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for African Sensitive has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malurky misses the jab.

Malurky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sensitive was covering up waiting for the punch and Malurky finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sensitive wants to sweep but no luck.
Sensitive is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Sensitive looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Malurky puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Malurky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sensitive avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sensitive darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sensitive throws a series of punches but Malurky avoids them all with ease.

and Sensitive connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sensitive is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sensitive tries to bum rush Malurky with a series of wild strikes but Malurky uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Sensitive makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

African Sensitive has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Malurky.

Malurky shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sensitive manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That was a close round but I would say that African Sensitive will probably get the nod.
