Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deforest Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pace's choice of entrance music: Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fernando closes the distance and clinches.
Fernando decides to pull guard.
Fernando pulls Pace in to control the position.
Fernando has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fernando scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Pace misses with a few strikes there.
Fernando blocks a head kick by Pace.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pace.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Fernando.
Fernando wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pace keeps working.
Fernando is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pace looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fernando gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pace is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fernando lets go of the hold and Pace can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Deforest Fernando!
