Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinji Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Kocur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Blood And Thunder - Mastodon. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kocur doesn't manage to clinch there - Silva circles away.
Kocur wants to clinch up but Silva keeps it at a distance.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
Silva misses with a few strikes there.
Silva jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kocur throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Silva's waist but Silva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kocur off to one side.

Kocur closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kocur.
