Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damiano Jacara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas dives in and grabs Jacara's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jacara pushes down on Thomas's head and hops out.
Thomas doesn't manage to clinch there - Jacara circles away.
Thomas throws a sloppy head kick and Jacara moves out of range easily.

Jacara gets the takedown into side control.
Thomas is looking for a sweep.
Jacara working the ground and pound.
The ground and pound from Jacara seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Jacara has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jacara wants to control but Thomas is keeping him busy.
Jacara grinds an elbow into Thomas's temple.
Thomas is not content to let Jacara control the position.
Thomas takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
You can see the frustration on Thomas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jacara tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Thomas tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jacara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jacara looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Jacara is breathing heavily.
Jacara cracks Thomas with a big elbow.

Jacara is looking to take a break and control but Thomas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Thomas is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Thomas is pushing Jacara's head away, looking to escape. Jacara manages to hold on to the position though.
Jacara in side control, throwing shots but Thomas defends.

Thomas is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jacara's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Jacara! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Thomas has tapped! This one is allllll over!
