The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Demedici.
Steel avoids the head kick by Demedici.
Demedici lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Demedici throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Demedici lands a big head kick that sends Steel tumbling to the mat! Demedici takes a step backwards and waves Steel back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Steel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Demedici as he jumps to the side.
Demedici throws a quick inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A clash of legs there as Steel blocks the low kick.
Steel fails with the takedown.
Demedici misses with a two punch combination.

Steel shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Demedici defends it nicely.
Vincent Demedici has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Steel.
Demedici throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Demedici has closed the distance and engaged Steel in a clinch.
Demedici will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Steel up against the cage.

Demedici breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A decent looking cross lands there for Demedici.
