Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Lupe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Yevon Rook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Michael Yevon Rook was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yevon Rook misses with a body shot.
Yevon Rook throws a right and a left that Lupe avoids nicely.
Yevon Rook moves out of range of the strikes.
Lupe misses the shot to the body.
Yevon Rook tries for a takedown but Lupe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lupe leaves Yevon Rook with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yevon Rook doesn't manage to clinch there - Lupe circles away.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Yevon Rook takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lupe throws a one two combo.

Lupe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Yevon Rook sprawling to the canvas! Yevon Rook rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lupe finish him?!

The cut above Michael Yevon Rook's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yevon Rook drops his hands momentarily. Lupe doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Yevon Rook staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Yevon Rook doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
