The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Da Silva.
Balls throws a hook to the side of Da Silva's head but Da Silva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Balls misses with the combination.
Balls throws a big shot that misses.
Da Silva pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Balls takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Da Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Da Silva throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Balls stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Da Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Balls swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Balls is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
I looks like Balls might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Balls stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Da Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Despite being in the dominant position, Huge Balls just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Balls ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Da Silva moves away.
Balls connects with the punch.

Balls throws a series of punches but Da Silva avoids them all with ease.
Balls throws a nice looking combination but Da Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Balls seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Balls connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Da Silva tumbling to the canvas! Balls pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Da Silva was done - good stoppage!
