Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derek Boase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and nate diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boase has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Boase looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boase is breathing heavily.
diaz shoots in looking for a takedown. Boase tries to sprawl out of it but diaz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Boase manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Boase isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. diaz stacks Boase on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by diaz!
