Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ken Blaise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor Hushovd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaise throws a chopping leg kick but Hushovd manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Blaise tries to clinch but Hushovd is having none of it.
Hushovd shoots in for a takedown but Blaise shows good takedown defense.
Blaise doesn't manage to clinch there - Hushovd circles away.
Blaise throws a sloppy head kick and Hushovd moves out of range easily.
Blaise pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hushovd is out of range and Blaise settles back down.
Blaise tries to clinch up but Hushovd circles away and keeps his distance.
Hushovd throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Blaise on the side of the head.
Hushovd throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blaise lands a head kick!
Blaise looks to score with a jab to the body but Hushovd is just out of range.
Hushovd throws a looping overhand right but Blaise ducks down to avoid it.
Blaise slips a jab and a cross from Hushovd.
Blaise wants to clinch up but Hushovd keeps it at a distance.

Hushovd shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hushovd showed some decent athleticism there.
Hushovd wants to pass to mount but Blaise is defending the position.

Hushovd seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Blaise is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
