Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moose Drool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Check Mong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mong has chosen I aint never scared as his entrance music. Check Mong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drool throws a leg kick but Mong sees it coming and moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Drool.
Mong fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mong checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Drool moves away from the strike by Mong.
Drool misses with a low kick.
Drool throws a head kick that misses.
Mong tries to clinch but Drool is having none of it.
Drool stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drool wants it to stay on the feet.
Mong lands with a shot to the body.
Drool fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mong checks it well.
Mong avoids a kick to the body.
Mong lunges at Drool with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Drool's hand.

It looks like Moose Drool has been cut.

Drool throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mong connects with a good right hand that stumbles Drool. Drool circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Mong throws a big shot that misses.
Mong shoots for a takedown but Drool saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Moose Drool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Check Mong.
Drool throws a solid leg kick but Mong takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Drool.

Mong closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mong lands in his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mong is looking to work some ground and pound but Drool has wrist control.
Mong throws and elbow that misses. Drool uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mong's guard. Nice move by Drool!
Drool tries to stand but Mong is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Drool is stalling in the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Mong wants to sweep but no luck.
Drool has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Drool throws a half hearted mid kick.
Drool is looking to land body kicks.
Drool keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Drool goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Mong fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Drool throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A nice inside leg kick there by Drool. That's going to slow Mong down.

Drool dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mong. That did some damage!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mong crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Drool - the referee stops the clock and Mong gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Drool. Mong manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Mong tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Drool swivels and escapes.
Drool feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mong's calf.

Drool is looking to land body kicks.
Drool throws a wild body kick that Mong sees coming a mile off.
Drool thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Mong if he has to take too many more of those.
A head kick misses from Drool.

Mong takes the fight into the clinch.
Mong throws a knee to the head but misses.
Drool just leaning against Mong, taking a breather.

Mong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Drool stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mong swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mong is looking for a triangle but Drool pushes his legs off easily.

Drool tries to score with a low kick but Mong moves his leg out of the way.

Moose Drool is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Drool gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Mong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mong showed some decent athleticism there.
Mong takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Drool has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mong is working away from the top position though.
Mong is keen to just control but Drool is a slippery customer.
