Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Hasmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trevor Hasmith!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Clark throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hasmith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Clark's waist but Clark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hasmith off to one side.
No luck for Hasmith with that takedown attempt.

Hasmith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hasmith prevents Clark from getting back to his feet.
Hasmith wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.
Hasmith postures up.
Hasmith pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clark is keeping the position for now.
Clark tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hasmith wants to pass the guard but Clark is keeping the position.

Hasmith forces his way into half guard.
Hasmith perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Clark is trying to maintain the position but Hasmith is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hasmith controlling the pace.
Clark is looking for a sweep. Hasmith is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Clark moves into full guard.
Hasmith looking to pass the guard.
Clark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clark tries to get out of the position.
Clark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clark wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Hasmith trying to control the position from guard on top but Clark is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Let's hope that Hasmith has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Clark trying to keep a closed guard but Hasmith is proving a slippery customer.
Clark looking for a sweep. Not yet Clark, not yet.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hasmith wanted to stand there but Clark had control of the position.
Clark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hasmith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hasmith slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trevor Hasmith dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Clark fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hasmith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Clark as he avoids it easily.
Andre Clark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Hasmith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Clark avoids it really well and circles away.
Hasmith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Andre Clark has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Hasmith.

Hasmith punishes Clark's body with a nice straight punch.
Clark throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hasmith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clark.

Clark tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hasmith keeps the fight on the outside.

Hasmith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Clark looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hasmith content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Hasmith tries to advance to mount but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clark gets back to half guard.
Clark wants to improve his position but Hasmith is controlling well.
Hasmith not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Hasmith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clark keeps working.
Clark is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hasmith tries for a takedown but Clark sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hasmith keeps the fight on the outside.

Clark clinches up with Hasmith and pushes him back against the cage.
Clark has Hasmith pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hasmith manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Clark goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hasmith prevents it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Hasmith drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clark gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Clark is pressed up against the cage. Hasmith has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Clark down to the mat. Clark avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Clark misses with a double jab.
Hasmith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hasmith somewhat.
Hasmith shoots in looking for a takedown. Clark tries to sprawl out of it but Hasmith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Clark manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Andre Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet.
Hasmith keeps the fight on the outside.
Hasmith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Clark tries to avoid it but Hasmith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Clark to the ground. Clark escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clark closes the distance and clinches up with Hasmith, looking for a takedown. Clark pushes Hasmith against the cage but Hasmith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Clark looks to land a combination but Hasmith avoids it well.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Trevor Hasmith's cut.
That's time! Clark's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Clark misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clark tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hasmith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hasmith tries for a takedown but Clark circles away easily
and Clark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Clark moves in looking to clinch but Hasmith pushes him off.
Clark tries to clinch but Hasmith moves out of range.

Clark drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hasmith gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clark is trying to drag Hasmith to the mat but Hasmith just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hasmith is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Clark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Hasmith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Clark manages to get back to half guard.
Hasmith keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hasmith thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Clark's head.
Clark tries to get to full guard but Hasmith has control of the leg.
Still in half guard, Hasmith seems content to control.

Hasmith is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hasmith prevents Clark from improving his position.
Hasmith wants to pass to mount but Clark is defending the position.
Clark has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hasmith is working away from the top position though.

Hasmith wants to pass the guard but Clark is defending well.
Clark is staying active underneath Hasmith, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Clark throws a right and a left that both miss.
Clark looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hasmith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Clark scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Hasmith avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Clark.
Clark not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Clark working over Hasmith with some ground and pound. Hasmith looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hasmith is holding on to half guard well.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Trevor Hasmith.
I think Hasmith has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
