Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Spiidi Haukka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Liosy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liosy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Haukka paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No luck for Liosy with that takedown attempt.
Liosy doesn't manage to clinch there - Haukka circles away.

Haukka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Liosy is looking for a sweep.
Haukka controlling the position from side mount.

Haukka tries for a kimura but Liosy is defending well.

Haukka stands up and beckons Liosy to his feet.

Haukka gets a takedown into half guard.

Haukka is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Haukka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haukka stands up and beckons Liosy to join him on the feet.
Liosy moves in looking to clinch but Haukka pushes him off.

Haukka rushes Liosy and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Liosy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Haukka.

Liosy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Haukka looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Liosy!
Liosy is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Haukka connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Liosy holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Haukka tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Haukka tries to control but Liosy wriggling away.
Haukka lands a heavy elbow.
Liosy tries to hold on but Haukka postures up.

Haukka is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Haukka is breathing heavily.
Liosy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Haukka misses with a jab, cross combination.
Haukka misses with a head kick.

Haukka drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Liosy is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Haukka tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Haukka tries to move into full mount but can't pass Liosy's legs.
Liosy is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Haukka is controlling him well.

Haukka tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Haukka has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Liosy trying his best to control but Haukka has mounted him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haukka working for a submission but Liosy is keeping him at bay.
Liosy blocking the ground and pound.
Haukka wants to control the pace but Liosy is squirming around nicely.
A nice elbow there by Haukka.
Haukka looking to control but Liosy is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Liosy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haukka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Haukka throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Liosy has his hands clasped together but Haukka breaks the hold and Liosy is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Haukka!
