Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Ceelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BRYAN RED EYES (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ceelo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ceelo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Ceelo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming RED EYES to the mat! RED EYES manages to get full guard.
Ceelo is stalling in the full guard.

RED EYES throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Ceelo throws a strike but RED EYES rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
RED EYES is fighting to break Ceelo's control of his arms but Ceelo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Ceelo can't keep his opponent in guard - RED EYES advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ceelo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

RED EYES tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ceelo tries to improve position but can't.

RED EYES thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ceelo throws RED EYES to one side and escapes!

RED EYES fails with the takedown

and Ceelo counters with a nice double leg into side control. RED EYES won't be happy with that.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
RED EYES is not content to let Ceelo control the position.

Ceelo decides to stand back up.

Ceelo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

RED EYES is looking for a triangle but Ceelo pushes his legs off easily.
RED EYES looks gassed!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ceelo is looking to clinch but RED EYES is avoiding it.

Ceelo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

RED EYES fails to land the takedown.

Curtis Ceelo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ceelo closes the distance and clinches.
RED EYES has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ceelo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Ceelo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with RED EYES, pushing him back against the cage.

Ceelo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ceelo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. RED EYES can't fight it off and eventually Ceelo manages to take the fight to the floor. RED EYES looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ceelo stays in close to RED EYES's body and controls the position.

Ceelo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ceelo gets to his feet - RED EYES follows without any prompting.
RED EYES takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ceelo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ceelo throws a quick inside leg kick.
RED EYES is breathing heavily.

Ceelo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
RED EYES drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ceelo gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Curtis Ceelo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BRYAN RED EYES.

Ceelo looking for a sweep. Not yet Ceelo, not yet.
Curtis Ceelo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
RED EYES prevents Ceelo from getting back to his feet.
Ceelo is trying to control the position but RED EYES postures up.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

RED EYES drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ceelo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now RED EYES has Ceelo in his guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ceelo lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Ceelo looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Ceelo trying to stand up but can't free himself from RED EYES's guard.

RED EYES working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ceelo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but RED EYES is tightening it up a little... Ceelo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ceelo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ceelo taps out! nice BJJ there by RED EYES!
