Dos Santos comes to the cage accompanied by Gonna Fly Now. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dos Santos gets a clinch.
Vieri has Dos Santos pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dos Santos manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Dos Santos keeps control of Vieri as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Vieri wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vieri has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dos Santos avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Dos Santos pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dos Santos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vieri circles away.
Dos Santos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vieri moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Vieri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dos Santos's waist but Dos Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vieri off to one side.
Senior Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernardo Vieri.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vieri should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dos Santos drives through and clinches with Vieri against the cage.
Vieri digs a right hand into Dos Santos's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Dos Santos's gas tank.
Dos Santos prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vieri looks gassed!

Dos Santos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Senior Dos Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dos Santos throws a nice looking combination but Vieri bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Dos Santos closes the distance and pushes Vieri back into the cage.

Vieri shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dos Santos pinned against the cage. Dos Santos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Vieri looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Dos Santos! Submission of the night perhaps?
