Ryan tries to close the distance and clinch but da Independente swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
da Independente lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ryan circles away quickly and effectively.
da Independente defending well as Ryan loads up on a big left hand.
da Independente scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ryan throws a jab when da Independente was well out of range.
Ryan swings for the body but da Independente moves out of range.
da Independente keeps the fight on the outside.
da Independente darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

A telegraphed right hand from Ryan misses the target.
Ryan slips a straight right by da Independente.
da Independente stuffs the takedown.
da Independente throws a jab when Ryan was well out of range.
da Independente avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
da Independente throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ryan on the side of the head.
Ryan drops his hands momentarily and da Independente takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ryan is looking to clinch but da Independente is avoiding it.
Ryan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from da Independente.
da Independente slips under a jab from Ryan.
Ryan tries to move into range but da Independente moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
da Independente lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ryan circles away quickly and effectively.
da Independente displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ryan throws out the jab.
