Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kal Torak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ares Sanders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanders has chosen Disturbed - Enemy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kal Torak!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ares Sanders!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanders's waist but Sanders gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Torak off to one side.
Torak fails with a takedown attempt.
Sanders avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sanders throws a lazy right hand but Torak sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Torak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Sanders bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Torak's guard.
Sanders throws and elbow that misses. Torak uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Sanders's guard. Nice move by Torak!
Torak advances to half guard.

Torak is looking for a kimura but Sanders is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Torak to get the leverage.
Torak wants to stand but Sanders has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Torak blocks the strikes from Sanders.
Sanders is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sanders is refusing to be controlled, as Torak sits in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sanders wants to improve his position but Torak is controlling well.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Sanders takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Torak avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Torak slips a jab and a cross from Sanders.
Sanders looks gassed!
Torak tries to clinch up but Sanders circles away and keeps his distance.

Torak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sanders is looking to improve his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sanders can do anything to dispel that myth.
Torak content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Torak prevents Sanders from improving his position.
Torak lands with a punch from half guard.
Torak passes to full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Torak looking to control but Sanders is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Sanders is working to get back to half guard.
Sanders really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Torak looking to control and managing it successfully.
Sanders working to try and regain half guard.
Sanders is squirming around, avoiding Torak's attempts to control the action.
Torak fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Sanders is working to get back to half guard.
Sanders tries to improve his position but instead Torak has taken his back!
Sanders looking very determined here, making life difficult for Torak.
Torak is really struggling to control Sanders but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Torak keeps control of the position as Sanders tries to break free.

What can Sanders do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Torak lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Sanders is keeping busy.
You can see the frustration on Sanders's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Torak sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Sanders taps out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kal Torak!
