Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simo Silakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasi Koo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kiss - God of Thunder. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pasi Koo!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koo is looking to clinch.
Silakka missing with a left hand there. Koo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Koo tries to clinch up but Silakka circles away and keeps his distance.

Silakka drops Koo with a left right combo! Silakka follows him down to the ground into side control.

It looks like Pasi Koo has been cut.
Koo manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Koo prevents Silakka from standing back up.
Koo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Silakka is staying active underneath Koo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Koo is working for a submission of some sort.
Still in half guard, Koo seems content to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silakka wants to get back to his feet.
Koo wants to take a breather but Silakka is having none of it.
Koo throwing shots but Silakka is blocking nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A head kick misses from Koo.
Silakka scores with a body shot.
Silakka swinging wildly here.
Koo drops his hands momentarily and Silakka takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Silakka throws a right hand that Koo ducks under and follows up with a left that Koo also avoids with ease.
Silakka moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Silakka lands with an uppercut that bounces Koo off the cage and back into rage.
Simo Silakka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koo tries to clinch but Silakka is having none of it.
Silakka cracks a nice hook into Koo's ribs.
Koo looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silakka cracks Koo with an open hand slap.

Koo is rocked!

That has opened up Pasi Koo's cut even more.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
BOOM! Silakka lands a beautiful left hook that drops Koo. Koo tries to recover but Silakka is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Koo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
